About Timlalin Dunes
Timlalin is a natural area about 60 km north of Agadir, on the coastal road to Essaouira. It’s one of those rare places in the Souss Massa region where the Atlantic Ocean meets golden sand dunes, so you get a mix of sea and desert in the same view.
Geographically, Timlalin has wide dunes, rocky sections and small canyons that were shaped over many years by rainwater and seasonal streams. This slow erosion is what created the natural caves and the carved cliffs you see there today.
The area is also known as a habitat for the Northern Bald Ibis (locally called Abo Mija), one of the rarest birds in the world. The dry coastal climate and the protected zones around Timlalin make it a good spot for this species to feed and nest.
So Timlalin isn’t just beautiful for photos, it also has ecological and geological value which makes it a really good place for people who like nature, birdwatching and coastal desert landscapes.

A Perfect Day in Morocco!
Everything was organized beautifully from start to finish. The dunes were breathtaking, and the camel ride along the beach felt like something out of a movie. The guide was friendly and patient, and the tea break at the end was a lovely touch. Highly recommend!

Unforgettable Adventure
I wasn’t sure what to expect, but this trip exceeded all my hopes. The quads were powerful, the views incredible, and the mix of excitement and calm moments made it just right. Definitely one of the best experiences I’ve had in Morocco.
